I am a Licensed Clinical Mental Health Counselor and received my Masters in Counseling from The University of Mississippi. I have experience working with children, teens, college students, and adults. Some of my areas of practice include anxiety, depression, relationship problems, eating disorders, self-esteem, work-life balance, and addictions. I am trained as both a clinical mental health counselor and a school counselor.
My counseling style involves an integrative approach utilizing a blend of person-centered therapy, cognitive behavioral therapy, dialectical behavior therapy, the gottman method (for couples), and attachment-based approaches to meet individual client needs. I also like applying a holistic approach to treatment, addressing emotional, physical, and spiritual well-being, when desired. It is my greatest hope for clients to not only survive but thrive. We all have unique stories that deserve to be heard, and I will walk alongside you as you tell yours to foster healing and help you move toward a more fulfilling life. I believe in the power of connection and will genuinely meet you where you are with compassion and support as you begin to grow and see your inherent worth. I am excited to be a part of your story!
In my free time, I love spending time with friends and family, working out, cooking, traveling, and finding the best coffee spots!
