I earned my Masters of Arts in Clinical Mental Health Counseling through Liberty University and practice as a Licensed Clinical Mental Health Counselor Associate. My experience includes working with children, teens, and adults through individual, couples, and family counseling. Some areas I have worked with are trauma, anxiety, depression, relationship problems, self esteem, life transitions, and ADHD.
I cater my sessions to fit the client’s needs by meeting the client where they are at and providing a space for clients to be their authentic selves. I primarily utilize an insight-oriented approach which helps clients gain clarity on their thoughts, feelings, and behaviors based on their past experiences. When working with children, I utilize play-based therapy as a means of connecting with the child on their level and encouraging growth.
Sometimes life happens and we really just need to figure out how to wade through the muck. I am here for you! Let’s explore those challenges together and collaborate on ways to keep taking steps forward.
I enjoy a strong espresso, lifting weights, cooking/baking, and spending time with my family.
